A Golfer’s Christmas Stocking- A List to Build a Dream On

A golfer’s Christmas stocking? Is that any different than a normal Christmas stocking? Yes. It is filled with golf stuff. Guess who gets the big stocking in our house. Hint…it’s not me. Am I too old to want a Christmas stocking? Hmm, In the immortal words of Kevin McCalister…

Now that I know how to put GIFs on my blog my life is complete.

Why don’t more people have Christmas stocking lists? My brother Bob does elaborate Christmas lists every year. I don’t think he does stocking lists though.

Amazon Stuff

I have heard that if you click on an Amazon link from a website, and end up buying stuff, the website you clicked the link from ends up making money. Once I found that out I started putting links on my website. Will anyone end up buying stuff through my website? In the immortal words of Kevin McCalister…

So you’re telling me I am doing this all gratis?

Golfer’s Christmas Stocking List

This is the ultimate golfer’s Christmas stocking list this year: (Hint to Kelsey)

  1. Push Cart Mitts- I had to admit that this may seem like a pretty expensive pair of mitts. These weren’t on my radar until my cousin, closest friend, and trusted golf adviser Kyle, told me he bought them. Coveting is supposed to be bad. If I have my own pair of these then I won’t have to covet any more.
  2. Mr. Heater- When it comes down to it, I am a winter sports guy. I don’t like skiing or snowboarding, but I love winter golf. This heater is the best way to enjoy golf. I have a different one that turns off every time I hit a bump with the golf cart. $100 stocking stuffer? It would be a Christmas miracle. One worth wishing for.
  3. Golf Club Cleaner- My brother has a Frogger Golf Brush. He’s fancy. That is the gold standard of golf brushes. Finally there is a cheaper version to buy. The key is the the retractable cord it comes with.
  4. Golf Sticks- $15 for two sticks? Definitely worth it. I used to have a pair of sticks but then someone stole them. That’s how valuable they are and why I need new ones. Watch the pros at the driving range. They all use them.

Things I Already Bought Myself

Most of the time I feel like I need something I buy it. That’s a bad habit. It’s more fun to wait until Christmas. If the golfer in your life doesn’t have this stuff already then buy it, and stuff it in his stocking.

  1. Golf Ball Markers- I started marking my golf ball with one of these in 2019 and it has transformed my putting game. Well worth the $10 investment.
  2. Golf Putting Trainer- This year I spent 4 hours one day trying to make 20 putts in a row. I couldn’t do it. I ended up buying this thing and got it done in 5 minutes. This is a huge help with putting alignment.
  3. Range Finder Magnet- I’ve lost my range finder probably 20 times. I don’t lose it near as much now that I have this magnet.

The Perfect Golfer’s Christmas Stocking

Do the golfer in your life a favor. Buy them some of the things on this list. An ideal Golfer’s Christmas Stocking would contain the following items:
1. 3 golf presents

2. Toaster strudels

3. New Golf Socks

4. Chocolate & Peanut Butter- This Fix & Fogg stuff is definitely worth Kelsey putting in my stocking this year.

Take my word for it. Let me know how Christmas goes.
